Hey robby, I really dug it and personally, dig the retro look. Being able to add a “Who wants a mustache ride” caption would have been tits, though. See you at MIX!

It suffers a bit on the usability side. There’s no way to go back without reloading the whole page, and that makes tweaking impossible.

Also, I’m not sure if this is just me, but when I hit the “watch it grow” step, it delayed for a second and popped up with the final product. I was kind of expecting to see some animation.

Here’s a thought, though: I’m not sure what the 10k includes, but if it includes the source code, you could run it through an optimizer (as you might with a javascript library) that strips any superfluous whitespace and reduces the length of local variable names.

But, overall I thought it’s was a neat idea!
