It’s been a long time coming: Kaxaml finally supports the latest version of Silverlight. Woohoo! Sorry to those who have been been waiting.

Not a lot of changes in this release other than the Silverlight changes. This is still very much a beta. There are a couple of Silverlight issues that I just haven’t been able to work through yet. Specifically: support for images (of any kind, frankly) and support for Silverlight 2 intellisense (right now, it’s limited to the Silverlight 1.0 spec).

Another oft requested feature on the WPF side is the ability to load external assemblies. There’s a little more work to be done here, but it’s on my radar. Hopefully, we can get an RTM release in the next couple of months that supports this.

Also, a minor change to the about box that is worth mentioning here: A huge thanks to Matt Ward who authored the text editor that I use in Kaxaml. He built it as part of the Sharp Develop project, a really incredible alternative IDE to Visual Studio.

Finally, If you have any desire to help out, please let me know. I’d love any fresh ideas or input (especially on the tough Silverlight issues).
